Chairman
Mr Andrew Caie had a very distinguished career in the UK Diplomatic Service, serving both in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in London and abroad. His overseas postings included appointments as Ambassador to Guatemala and High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam. He was Executive Director of CfBT Malaysia, managing educational programmes and consultancy work in both the public and private sectors. Mr Caie holds a Master of Arts in History from Cambridge University. He has served as an Eaton Governor since the school’s inception in 2013.

Puan Fazidah Jaafar
Puan Fazidah’s long career with the Ministry of Education spans over a period of 34 years. She started as a school teacher before moving to the Private Education Department as Assistant Director 16 years ago. She slowly moved up the ranks in the Department to become head of International and Private School registration before retiring as Senior Assistant Director in charge of the Enforcement Unit last year. Puan Fazidah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Strathclyde, UK as well as a Diploma in TESL from the University of Malaya.

Ms Josephine Teo Chen
Ms Josephine Teo Chen has over 30 years of experience as a TESL teacher trainer. She had managed a team of over 30 trainers in a public teacher training institution. Upon her retirement from the Ministry of Education, she was actively involved in managing a Bachelor of Education (TESL) twinning programme in collaboration with UK, Australia and New Zealand Universities. She has vast experience in developing pre-service and in-service ELT curriculum. Ms Teo holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Education from the University of Malaya.

Dr Lee Yow Hoong is a certified medical practitioner in Malaysia. Graduating with an honours degree in Medicine and Surgery, he went on to obtain a postgraduate certificate in occupational medicine. Before setting up his own private practice with his wife, also a certified medical practitioner, Dr Lee had worked in government hospitals and private clinics. Dr Lee has two children studying at Eaton and is the parents’ representative on the Board of Governors.
Mr. Suria Kumar D.J.Paul
Mr Suria Kumar D.J.Paul
Mr Suria Kumar has been a practising advocate and solicitor in Malaysia for the last 28 years. Since starting his own practice in 1994, he has specialised in litigation handling Civil, Criminal and Employment matters. Mr Suria graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the University of Hull, UK.
