Catherine joined Eaton in 2021 and will lead the English department for the 2022/23 academic year. Having trained in South Africa, she has over 10 years of teaching experience, providing engaging lessons with enthusiasm and passion. Catherine is never without a book in hand, and aims to share her love of literature with her students, inspiring them to reach their potential in language and literature subjects.
Outside of the classroom, she is a keen and skilled photographer and enjoys traveling the globe to explore art and culture.

Lisa joins Eaton having taught in Malaysia for 3 years, with previous experience in the UK and India. She is an innovative and inspiring educator, who creates an exciting and nurturing learning environment, ensuring every student is guided to reach their potential, as well as their dreams and aspirations. These qualities will certainly be an asset to the Eaton community.
Alongside her teaching career, she has engaged in many charity schemes, including teaching children in rural Nepal.

Matthew heads into his second year at Eaton in a new position as the Head of Pastoral. He is a passionate teacher who strives to ensure students are provided with the skills to achieve optimal development and growth as individuals. He believes that education should inspire, equip, and empower students to live their best lives, and make a positive contribution. As fitness and health is an interest of his, Matthew also believes it is important to provide students with the opportunity to optimise their physical development outside the classroom.
In his free time, he enjoys keeping up to date with a variety of sporting events, especially rugby, golf, and football. During the weekends, he will take any opportunity to find himself on a golf course.

Julius has been a valuable member of the Maths department since 2018, and is now in his second year as Head of Department.
Julius is an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths teacher. He believes in providing a valuable learning experience that is interesting and stimulating to instill in students a passion for lifelong learning. Julius loves rock climbing. It is a great sport to build strength, but it also requires some physics and a lot of problem solving! When he is not climbing he could be playing the guitar, bass or drums.

Tom joined Eaton in 2016, before moving into the Head of Pastoral position, and is now established as the Assistant Head of Secondary. He is a dedicated and enthusiastic educator who strives to ensure all students reach their potential.
Tom is involved in many extra-curricular activities, particularly within music and sport, and attending many enriching trips. These allow strong relationships to form, assisting students with soft skills outside of the classroom, whilst the connection also benefits them within the classroom. Tom is passionate about various types of music and plays the saxophone, piano and ukulele. He has helped out with the Performing Arts team in musical events at Eaton.

Nathan begins his fifth year at Eaton in the role of Deputy Head of Secondary, having previously been our Head of Pastoral.
He began his journey in education in 2006, and has a wealth of experience as a classroom teacher, as well as holding positions in pastoral care, staff training, and Trip Coordinator. He is a firm believer that a child’s education should be much more than academic success, and aims to bring the best out of every student, both inside and outside of the classroom. Helping students find and explore their passions, whether creative or academic, is vital to developing well-rounded individuals, and Nathan aims to create a learning environment where this outlook is shared, through well planned lessons, up to date staff training and an enriching programme of ECAs and educational visits.
Outside of school, Nathan enjoys traveling with his young family, trying new foods, following Liverpool FC and playing the guitar.

Chin begins her second year at Eaton. She is a dedicated and goal-driven Mathematics educator who enjoys working with numbers and imparting principles of learning mathematical concepts to all students; committed to the academic growth and development of every child, she wants all children to be happy and successful learners. She finds the best part of teaching is to see young people discover their passions and grow in confidence.
In her spare time, she loves doing outdoor activities particularly hiking, and traveling to explore new cultures.

Science has always been of great interest to Sean. After completing two science degrees, Sean wanted to share his passion for science with others, leading to his PGCE at Newcastle University.
Before joining Eaton as a chemistry teacher, Sean worked for several years at one of the UK’s leading grammar schools. Following this, he worked for an international school in Malaysia.

Darryl joins Eaton having taught in Asia for the past 14 years. A dedicated and passionate teacher, with a breadth of experience across multiple subjects, as well as in leadership positions, Darryl adds quality and experience to the Eaton team.
He believes in creating an inclusive classroom environment where learners can challenge themselves, have fun, express themselves, test their skills and support one another.
He is also a keen and experienced sports coach, and looks forward to bringing the best out of Eaton pupils academically and physically!

Wati is a dynamic and passionate Science teacher who loves to explore Science through practical tasks and experiments. She believes that allowing students to be ‘hands-on’ with science sparks an inquisitive side and a lifelong interest in the subject. Wati's excellent knowledge of scientific methodology is a benefit to Eaton students, and she enjoys nothing more than sharing this knowledge with her students.
To relax, Wati loves the outdoors and nature, and has been involved in many extra-curricular programmes such as the EcoClub and leading the schools Turtle Conservation Programme.

He also has experience in coordinating extracurricular activities and is motivated in promoting students’ holistic development.

Robert has been part of the Humanities team at Eaton for 4 years. He is a passionate and enthusiastic geography teacher with particular interest in how geographical knowledge can be used to provide students with new ways of seeing the development and future of their own countries. Robert coordinates the KS4 PSHE Curriculum, ensuring that pupils are educated on important areas of their personal lives, particularly as they leave Eaton for their next adventures.
He likes PC gaming and strategy games. He likes books about sci-fi and history.

We are delighted to welcome Brigitte to the Eaton family for the 2022/23 academic year. She brings with her a wealth of experience as a teacher and as a department leader, as well as coordinating Humanities subjects throughout wider regions in South Africa.
A dedicated team-player, she aims to bring the best out of her students and colleagues alike, ensuring their output is always of the highest standard.
Brigitte is a keen sportsperson, and has inspired many pupils to be active through sports coaching and extra-curricular clubs.

Amerul is the KS3 PSHE coordinator, ensuring all Eaton students are provided with the knowledge to succeed in personal areas of their lives, as well as the academics.
In his spare time Amerul enjoys reading, and likes nothing more than discovering a great book to add to his reading list.

Outside of school, Liong is passionate about both physical and mental health, and loves nothing more than learning calligraphy and a nice cup of coffee to help her unwind.

Having over 8 years of teaching experience, he has taught Food Technology as well as Food & Nutrition for IGCSE. He is enthusiastic about food and loves to teach and cook. Outside of school, Kamal enjoys an exhausting session at a Muay Thai gym or at camp 5 learning to rock climb.

Ms. Bong is an enthusiastic and dynamic music teacher with more than 10 years of teaching experience across all of the Key Stages. She has led the Performing Arts department since 2018 and has produced outstanding concerts and musicals for all age groups. Bong believes every pupil should be encouraged to find their inner creativity, and use the arts to build confidence that will benefit them in whichever path they take in life. She feels a great sense of accomplishment and pride when her students perform confidently on stage.
She plays various musical instruments and leads extracurricular rock band activities for the PA team.

Normiha or Miha was involved in productions mostly as an actor and management crew at University. Her passion in acting was not only limited to stage acting. She was actively involved in screen acting such as in short films, advertisements, public service announcements and many more. Despite being fully active in productions and performing, her passion in teaching is nurtured through her role as teacher. She enjoyed teaching Performing Arts, especially drama or theater to her students as she can learn together with her students. The moments where her students step-up on the stage and performed in front of the audiences was the best moment as a teacher.

At Eaton, Syuhada looks forward to organising a number of sports events such as the swimming gala and athletic events. She will also be involved in supporting our Duke of Edinburgh International Award.

A love for Chinese language has led Tan Mee Fei on a journey across Asia. She joins Eaton from Shanghai, having first taught in Singapore and schools in Malaysia. Mee Fei first came to Malaysia in 2012 and she is now glad to be at Eaton, where her passion for Mandarin can be shared with the students.
As well as teaching, Mee Fei has been involved in organising large events such as the Shanghai International TV & Film Festival.
